Hi everyone, I’m working on tools that can make EO easier to use and work with. As such, I have a question or two:
How many of you are using cloud based technologies when working with Earth Observation data? This include Google Earth Engine, Amazon Sagemaker, Microsoft Azure, or anything else.
If you are not using them, why not? And how are you collecting and processing EO data?
None of those create analysis, that can only be done by a human. They can perform and action on data that results in an output, but none of those system ANALYZE data. Perhaps you are looking for Monitoring ... another area where there are no real webfacing systems aside from IOT containers like Canary etc .. all proprietary. .. in my observations and practices .. that is.
I'm using on a regular base GEE and Copernicus Data Space for accessing and processing data and Felt for visualising them on a interactive map.
Thank you for your insight Niklas. This is good to know.
Try FELT, super easy for visualizations. What do you need your maps to do ?

I'm curious about how people use it for analysis, not so much visualizations.
